Delete your account
You can delete your Konokanang account and everything in it yourself, at any time, without asking us. It is not a support ticket and we will not try to talk you out of it.
Last updated 5 September 2026.
From the app or the website
Sign in, open Account, then choose Delete account. You will be asked for your password to confirm, because being signed in on a borrowed or stolen phone should not be enough to erase a family’s records.
Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period and no “we’ll keep it for 30 days in case you change your mind” - once it is gone we cannot restore it, so export your data first if you want to keep it.
Export your data first
In the same Account screen, Export my data gives you a single JSON file containing your profile, every baby, every log entry, cries, insights, handovers, transition plans and share links. Take it before you delete, not after.
What gets deleted
Your account, your sign-in credentials, your sessions on every device, and your analytics events are all removed outright.
A baby’s record is deleted when you were the last caregiver on it. If you share a baby with a co-parent or a grandparent, deleting your account removes your access and leaves their record of their child intact - we are not going to erase someone else’s data because you left.
Subscriptions
If you subscribed on this website, we cancel your subscription before deleting anything. If cancelling fails we stop and keep the account, so you are never left paying for an account that no longer exists.
If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, those shops bill you, not us, and we cannot cancel on your behalf. Cancel it in your Apple or Google subscription settings as well, otherwise the charges continue.
If you cannot sign in
Try resetting your password first, since that restores access to the self-service route above.
If that does not work, email info@openlabtechnologies.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify you own the address before doing anything, and complete it within 30 days as UK GDPR requires - usually much sooner.
What we keep, and why
We keep the minimum records we are legally required to: payment and tax records for the period HMRC requires, and security or abuse logs where we have a legal obligation to retain them. These never include your babies’ logs.
Everything else is gone. See our privacy page for the full picture.
